When sales delegates from Chinese beauty products giant, Nu Skin Enterprises united at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, we served up a stunning banquet for more than 8,000 people a day. Our catering and hospitality services team committed to three months of intensive planning, including a month’s training for the 350 members of staff involved.
We recently received our biggest-ever single incentives group, welcoming more than 16,500 sales delegates from Chinese beauty products giant, Nu Skin Enterprises. Held at Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi, we catered to more than 8,000 people a day. Distance itself was a challenge, as the event site was more than 130km from our own premises.
Our catering and hospitality team committed to three months of intensive planning, factoring in one month’s training for the 350 members of staff involved. Our dedicated in-house team was assigned on the ground at the site for a week before the event to execute the pre-planning in terms of set-up and logistics.
We used special operation chiller trucks to transport 15,000 bottles of water, 15,000 bottles of juice, 10,000 assorted drinks and around 16,000 lunchboxes to Yas Marina Circuit from our Dubai hub. To ensure seamless delivery, our catering team meticulously planned logistics over a two-week strategy session, before placing our dedicated team members in open locations to distribute each pack individually.
Queue management was paramount for the smooth running of the evening’s carnival area. We successfully diverted thousands of guests to different locations to ease the flow of people. We manned all beverage stands, food counters and side stands with complete precision to ensure guests were served promptly and efficiently. In the VIP area, we executed food delivery to perfection and treated our guests with our exemplary product knowledge and service etiquette.Download the full case study here
